Assayratings

Policies

The rules Assay binds itself to. Each one is written to be violated visibly, or not at all.

Not investment advice

Assay publishes opinions on verifiable properties of token contracts, derived by the published methodology from disclosed facts — primarily live blockchain state, with the evidence shown beside every finding. Ratings are impersonal: identical for every viewer, never tailored to any person's holdings or situation, and never a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Grades say nothing about future prices and do not guarantee that a token will not fail, rug, or collapse — they measure disclosed structure and kept promises at scan time. Data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong; grades change without notice as chain state changes. You bear your own decisions. Yatırım tavsiyesi değildir. This site provides no personalized recommendations to any client and offers no brokerage, custody, exchange, or portfolio service of any kind.

Independence — scores cannot be bought

  • No issuer ever pays for a score. Assay accepts no payment, token allocation, or consideration of any kind from projects it rates — not for a grade, not for a better grade, not for a faster grade.
  • Assay will never launch a token of its own.
  • No trading around rating actions. The operator does not trade any rated token in a window around that token's rating changes and never holds short positions in rated tokens.
  • No affiliate links to trading venues, no purchase buttons, no sponsored placements, no token-picking lists. Rating pages are assessments, not solicitations.
  • Every grade change is public, timestamped, and carries its triggering evidence. The methodology is versioned; the history cannot be quietly rewritten — the data lives in a public git repository.

Conflict of interest — ATA Coin

The operator of Assay is the founder of ATA Coin. Under this policy ATA is Not Rated: its page shows raw dimension facts and claim verdicts computed by the same pipeline as every other token, but Assay never assigns it a letter grade. Tokens that compete directly with ATA are graded by algorithmic output only — human overrides on competitor grades are prohibited — and their pages carry an automatic disclosure. This section will be updated if the operator's holdings or affiliations change. The methodology itself grew out of the adversarial trust review originally built for ATA; that origin is a disclosed fact, not a secret.

Disputes & corrections

If you represent a rated project and believe a specific factual statement in your report is wrong:

  • Open an issue in the public repository titled Dispute: <TOKEN>, identifying the exact statement disputed.
  • Attach verifiable evidence: a transaction hash, contract address, or — to authenticate as the project — a message signed by an address the project has publicly identified as its own.
  • Review SLA: 10 business days. Outcomes: the finding is corrected (with a public changelog entry), annotated (“disputed by issuer; verification stands”), or unchanged with reasons — always in public.
  • Every rated project may additionally have one official response linked from its rating page on request.

Corrections log: all published corrections are recorded in docs/CORRECTIONS.md in the repository, permanently.

Terms of use (short form)

  • Content is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind; to the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid Assay for the content (for this free site: nothing).
  • Grades are opinions derived from the cited evidence by the published methodology; the underlying facts are stated with their sources so you can verify them independently.
  • Free API/data use requires attribution (“Ratings by Assay — assayratings.com”). Bulk redistribution or use of Assay data to build a competing rating dataset requires written permission.
  • “Rated by Assay” badges must render the live current grade and may not imply endorsement; stale or selective display is a trademark violation.
  • This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal data.
